Usual summer stout brewed with lactose. Dark brown color, creamy khaki head. Roasty malt aroma. Sweet flavors, cocoa with cream. Coffee element. Smooth feel, with a smidge of oppressive bitterness.

On tap at South Street; didn’t take notes on the color, but nothing unusual there. Aroma of roasted oats and milky sweetness. Had a nice lactic presence. Definitely pretty sweet for the style, which I liked. Pronounced roasted and chocolate elements. Finish was fairly smooth, although I did pick up on a bit of astringency occasionally. Enjoyed this one.

Draft at the brewery. Reddish brown pour, very dark, with a medium head. Subtle roasted malt aroma. Roasted malt taste with coffee notes and lots of lactose sweetness. Very sweet... a little too sweet, but not overboard enough to make it unpleasant.. Medium body.
