Bright straw color, airy white head. Effervescent. Grainy with some stately hoppiness. Quite drinkable. Who knew that this style would be my favorite after an evening of Tuesday night $2.50 drafts?

Golden straw pour, not really any head at all. Almost yellow. Clean, modest hops, grassy and earthy. Kinda fruity? Apricot? Grassy, noble hops? Quite full flavoured for the style. Very nice. Crisp, clean. A zip of carbonation, and an easy drinker - as they often are. Decent session beer.

On tap at brewpub. Pale straw color. Nice bitter pils aroma with grainy notes. Beautiful balance between bitterness and maltiness in the taste. Best beer at South Street that night.

On tap at the brewpub. I thought this was a very decent brewpub pilsner. Slightly hazy straw colour. Quite muted aroma but springs to life on the palate. Dry and nicely balanced with a mixture of biscuity malt and sharp hops. Clean and refreshing.

Crystal clear straw body with fluffy white head. Aroma is medium sweet, biscuit/cereal, light herb/grassy. Taste is medium sweet, orange/her, some caramel, light apple. Mild bitterness for the style. Watery light body, light crispness.

From a growler- light and clear- nice head on tap, rather flat from the growler. Nice hoppy aroma, (appropriate for the style, this isn’t and IPA). The flavor is smooth and malty, I would prefer a little more bitterness, but not flawed. There is that South Street house flavor again- not unpleasant, but curious. Not yeast, since i’ve noticed it in ales and lagers- maybe a bittering of flavoring hop?

Golden yellow with a nice head. Smells slightly sweet. Taste is what threw me- this is a fantastic pils! Without a doubt, one of the best I have had (I’m not a huge fan of the style). Highly recommended for macro drinkers, because this is close enough, yet SO much better.
