750ml bottle-pours a foamy tan head and cloudy brown color. Aroma is sweet medium malt-brown sugar, dark fruit-raisin, some earthy (English) hops. Taste is sweet medium malt-brown sugar, dark fruit-raisin, offset by an herbal/spicy hops. Medium body. Good effervescence. Full of taste, like an Imperial Old Ale. Although not my taste, enjoyable. Thanks to jwc215 for sharing.

[Bottle] shared by Guerde. Pours a hazy caramel with ruby highlights and a medium tan head. Aroma is mainly figs with some raisins and brown sugar. Quite sweet on the nose. Flavor is pretty much the same as the aroma, and a little bit coarse from too much carbonation. A touch chalky and dry on the finish.

Pours ruddy brown with decent tan head. Nose is full of toffee, dried fruit and caramel. Same in the flavor with a very nice finish and smooth mouthfeel.

(bottle, thanks OSLO!) Pours reddish brown with an off-white head. The aroma is very sweet with fig, raisin, brown sugar, and just a bit of oxidation as well. The taste was very similar to the aroma, but a bit stronger, with more prune, figs, molasses, and toffee. Medium mouthfeel that was just slightly overcarbonated for the style.

Bottle@LCRBM 2008. A hazy red/brown colored beer with a beige head. The aroma of dark fruits, with dark malts and hoppy. The taste of dark fruits like cherries with caramel, malty with some spices. The aftertaste is enjoyable bitter.
