22oz bottle shared courtesy of dickinsonbeer. Poured a medium and cloudy yellow color with a small sized white head. Aromas of yeast, citrus, lighter spices, and bready. Tastes of breadiness, citrus, a little fruity (bananas), and spices.Very drinkable and would make a great session beer.

660mL. Nice cloudy pure gold color. Delicate 1cm cover. Most pleasant icing sugar, estery and honey-like biscuity malts are more than a match for the understated yeast and hops. Graham flour, perfumey and slightly vegetal flavors, almost corny, but mostly cookieish. What surprises the most is the constant considerable tartness leading toward plenty of fruity hints (apples, pears, bananas, citrus, honeymelon). Most comfrtable mouthfeel, highly carbonated medium body. This sure felt bigger than it was, very tasty product. Original in our necks of the woods...

Bottle... Gene Simmons’ Rock and Roll Over Throwdown... Murky, pear-colored ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Decent retention. Breadsy, citric nose also provides subtle pear and a suggestion of clove. Light-bodied with fizzy carbonation. Almost perfectly balanced, but tilts just a tad toward the sweet side. Citrus and fuzzy fruit. Finishes lightly acidic and a touch spicy. Thanks to TheCheeseMan for saving the dregs of this bottle for me (late, as always).

(Bottle at Real Ale Fest - Chicago) This has a pleasant, light spicy aroma. Good citrus coriander flavor with a smooth, crisp, dry finish. Not very complex, but drinkable and well-balanced.

The Lure:
Citrus fruit plantations thrive miraculously well out of the fertile biscuity malt soil. Herbal hops perform Arabier-esque arabesques on their comfortable pie crust.

The Festivities:
Tart lemons surge somewhat unexpectedly from the understated biscuity malts and profess the acidity with prowess. Pink grapefruit hug the light hop bitterness admirably, but that sourness caught me off guard I must admit. I would have preferred more of that delicious malt cookie.

Transcendence:
I feel less intimate and relaxed when all the windows of the house are wide open.

Tap at the brewery. Cloudy, very pale yellow beer with a thin white head. Nice light yeasty aroma, bubble gum, lemony citrus and a touch of wheaty spiciness. Flavour shows a light clean malt profile. Some wheat and some bready yeasty flavour. Fairly well-hopped, light spiciness from those. As it warms some apple/pear esters come out. Light bodied but not light flavoured. Very easy to put back. Nice brew.
