[The bottle I shared had been all over Eastern Europe in Josh’s backpack before ending up in Stockholm, thanks, Josh] An opaque brown beer with a brown disappearing head. The aroma is sweet with notes of prunes and raisins. The flavor is of prunes and raisins before a dry hoppy end sets in, and the alcohol starts burning the throat.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of moejuck. Pours a hazy, orangey brown with an off-white head. Aroma is of overripe fruit, roasted malt and alcohol. Quite full and potent body with lots of caramel, overripe fruit and a warming alcohol in the finish. 230407

RB 300. Sample from bottle. Pours brown. Aroma is caramel malty so is the flavour. Strong belgian yeast (fruit notes) and alcohol notes. Good sweet and spicy finish.

Bottled. Nut brown no head. Very sweet and almondy. Full bodied and warming with some vinous flavours. Still sugar is dominating, and it is sweet to the point that all I get is syrup, honey and sugar that drowns everything else. All around me at the European Summer Party I hear nothing but praise for this beer, but I am not able to agree - nor find the flavours and richness of this beer. Frustrating.

Unclear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet, light to moderate hoppy and yeasty, orange. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (020808)

Bottled. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is raisins, toffee, alcohol and some sweet malts. Raisins, some sweet nectary notes, alcohol and fruityness in the flavour. Wellbalanced, and very drinkable brew.
