Coppery amber colored clear pour with a greyish head. Sweet slightly tart malt smell. Nice. Almost lightly nutty as well. Smooth creamy mildly sweet and tart maltiness. Very easy drinking, friendly but a bit unique as well. Nice beer in a style I’m fairly unfamiliar with.

Flavors of roasted malt, almonds, caramel, & dates. Has a nice hop bite on the back end which gives it a nice bitter finish. Very easy drinking brew, not complicated, but enjoyable. Definite session brew. Long, bitter finish. Kind of reminds me of a Fat Tire, but with a little more flavor. brownaler (379), Topsail Beach, North Carolina, USA

Brownish coloring, off white head, nutty aroma, and a solid nutty taste. Not billed as a nut brown tho, so won’t call it that. Not a bad brew tho, and got it at close out price. That’ll work. blklab2007 (982), Connecticut, USA

10/10/07 bottle labeled secret ale poured an amber in color with a thin head on the beer and light carbonation. smell is of malts, caramel, and some sweetness. taste is smooth, plenty of malts, and finishes with a slight bitterness. has a spicy bite from the hops as it is drank but the malt keeps it down, i guess it is in line for what the style is.
