Sep 12, 2009 Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Clearnut broen, small head. Buttery nose. Mid-sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Lightly roasty, never earthy nor soft. Feels like a simple sketch of an altbier.

Nov 22, 2006 A Sim Rate (bottled from Gristede’s, Manhattan): Very sweet, wine-like aroma with a hint of grape. The flavour is similar with an aftertaste of hard grape candy. But the candy-sweet flavour is minimal and more of an afterthought than overpowering. Slightly malty and a nice clean different beer.
