GABF 2004. Clean, dull yellow body and white head. Nice grainy, wheat nose and subdued citrusy esters. Crisp, mildly tart, mildly bitter with a wonderful dryness. An excellent witbier.

Looks like lemonade. Nice sharp citrus zest flavor; lots of corriander. Light, spicy, refreshing, very dry with a long, bitter herbal finish. Not something I’d like if I weren’t in the mood for it, but excellently balanced and well-made.

Beer on the Pier. Had the good fortune to spend the whole day next to this delicious beer. Nice light taste and appearance. Crisp, clean beer with light wheat and orange peel taste.

Poured a hazy golden color with a thin, off white head that left no lacing on the glass. Aroma of perfume, lavender soap, some spices, citrus, and orange peel. Taste of citrus, pineapple, more orange peel, vanilla, and a sweet finish. Very enjoyable.

Draught Blind Tiger NYC The best American witbier. Very refreshing, but it is without all the unpleasant yeast finish, that are present in most Belgian witbiers.

08.03.05 Tap at J.P.MacGrady’s. Lightly clouded pale golden, tiny head. Strong spicy aroma, lemon zest, corriander, floral. Slick and coating for a wit. Lingering clove, tropical.

on tap at MacGrady’s, a pale yellow body with a fizzy white head, pretty thin, giving off an aroma of sweet lemon, orange and spices. flavor was heavy with the spices, mostly coriander and citrus, mostly orange, but also lemon and pineapple. a very smooth, slightly creamy mouthfeel, more body than most wits, and lots of spices in the finish. a very flavorful and easy to drink brew.

Somwhere between a Wit and an American Hefeweizen. Spices noticeable but not as prononced as others of the style. More body in the middle. This beer is great with food.
