Aug 17, 2005 (on bottle at RBESG 2005) An interesting beer, but not quite the style-matcher in my book. Aroma like a Tripel; tart and sweet. Foamy mouth, still sour/malty-like, like toast with red tomatomarmelade. Quite the hoppy finish.

Aug 15, 2005 Bottle @ RBESG2005. Quite nice nose of caramel, butterscotch and sweet ice cream. Hazy dark orange body, with a small off-white head. Good sweetness in the flavor, with some hops in the end. One of the best Biere de Gardes ive tried.

Aug 15, 2005 Bottle: Courtesy of Styles. Aromas of chocolate, caramel, fruit, and spice. Pours a transparent redish-orange with a nice off-white head with decent retention. Chocolate and caramel up front with some light fruitiness. Finish is a weird combination of sour roastiness and spice.
