(draught at the brewery) This really should be listed as a fruit beer - very similar to some sub-par, light raspberries ales I’v had (ie. Great Divide), but there is nothing sub-par about this beer - beautiful red/purple hue, sparkling body wih foamy white head - huge raspberry aroma - crisp, light and refreshing - seemingly simple at first, but one must be careful not to mistake the more subtle berry and grain flavors for simplicity - great summer ale.

Tap from Half time with spkldhenlvr24 in May 2005. Pours a perfect red color with a reddish off white head. Smells bursting of sugars and fruits (mixed berry smell.) Beautiful balance of fruits and wheats. No alcohol taste at all almost like drinking a juice. Extremley clean from start to finish. Almost like a lambic without the champagne qualities. I ABSOLUTLEY LOVED THIS BEER!!

On tap at Half-Time in Poughkeepsie. Not sure if this is a wheat, lambic, fruit beer or some other style. Its listed as a wheat so thats what I’ll put it under unless someone thinks differently. Which ever it was, it was great. Pours a cloudy, purple/dark red body with a thin, fizzy pink head. Good raspberry/ blackberry aroma. Tangy, bubbly mouthfeel. Complex sweet berry flavor. Thin finish. Similar to lambics I’ve had before. Some wheat qualities. Another great Southampton beer.

On tap. I had this funky wheat beer at a Southampton tent during a show and the fruit really came out. On a hot day, this was an outstanding pairing with bbq brisket and it was refreshing change from everything else I was tasting.

Re-rate - tap @ SPH. Pours a hazy deep red color with a quickly-dissipating pink head. Aroma is heavy raspberry with a bit of sour "funk" detectable as well. Taste is raspberry up front, with detectable malt and a mellow wheat finish. The beer is very smooth, quite refreshing, and avoids being overly sweet, which is always a challenge in fruit beers.

On tap from Shoreline Bev. This beer poured a color similar to a deep rose’ wine with a moderate fizzy pink head that quickly receded to a thin ring. Very nice aroma of raspberries. The flavor is also mostly raspberries, but they do not overpower as in some fruit beers. Light on the palate and very refreshing, this beer is simple, as it should be. Another job well done by Phil Markowski.

Tap at SPH. 8.21.06 Had a pretty nice raspberry flavor. A genuine wheaty/raspberry one. A nice balance. "No fakey.", said we.

Poured a hazy pinkish purple corle with a small owh. Aroma is sweet and candish. Raspberries domniate with just enough sweetness. Sweet and fruity with Rsperries still dominating. Not over the top in my aspect. a really nice fruit beer. If 8% this is a true panty dropper.
