Feb 18, 2008 Light spice which probably comes from the added minerals. Very light floral and random fruit in the nose and flavor. Enjoyable.

Feb 11, 2008 Draught at SPH Brewpub. Nice amber colour with a very lacy head. Light spice aroma with notes of hops and fruit. Drinkable indeed. I have had several growlers of this one!

Feb 7, 2008 Draught at Waterfront Ale House, Bklyn. Amber with a frothy white head, leaving sheets of lacing. Straw and grainy malt aroma with a light fruitiness. Flavor of sweet cereal malts with notes of light citrus and grass. Couldn’t really note any mineral additions. Mildly bitter hop finish. Nothing exciting, but very drinkable nonetheless. A pretty good session ale, if anything.

Oct 7, 2007 Tap @ SPH. Pours a more golden color, which is a surprise for the style, with a small, lacy white head. Aroma is caramel and malt, with a slight detectable hop and rye as well. Taste is caramel malt, with a grainy characteristic in the middle and a nice aftertaste of hops. This is a great example of the style, and a nice offering from this absolutely fantastic brewery.
