From bottle, blind tasting at Papsoes - beer no 20. Pours hazy yellow with a diminished head. Heavy and soapy spiced aroma. Flavour is slight berry flavoured with a mild herbal note. Ends mellow with quite spiced finish. Sadly WAY overspiced.

from mesa gathering. pours on the orange side of gold with a fluffy white head. aroma is apple cider, sweet white flowers and alcohol. flavor borders sweet...honey, lavender/floral/honeysuckle, lemon, peppery yeast and an earthy funk. medium bodied with acidic-like carbonation. dry finish leaves some funkiness lingering in the aftertaste. very reminiscent of good champagne.

lots of lavender in both the aroma and flavor... still a touch on the sweet side but it is very well layered. rating stands.

Thin offwhite head. Golden body. Sharp floral herbal aroma with malty sweetness. Cinnamon and Christmas spice notes. Light acidic balanced barnyard taste with cinnamon, floral, and herbal notes. Some cardamom as well. Wonderful! (0.75l bottle at RBNAG’07.)

Sampled bottle, RBNAG 2007 in Grimstad. ABV was 7.7%. Brewed with edible flowers. Golden colour. Unusual aroma of various flowers and herbs + honey and oak. Herbal and very sweet flavour with notes of tobacco. A bit "too special" for me.

Tasted at Patron Saints Angel Share Release. Bottle from brewboy1. Tried with deftim13, brewboy1, CaptainCougar, and others. JohnC, miketd, and WeeHeavy were here earlier, but left by this time. Lots of interesting flower aroma. Lots of carbonation, which brings out the flower aroma even more. A little bit of butter and lavender in the aroma. A small hint of acidity, which may be an illusion from the carbonation. Kind of like a champagne. Kind of dry taste, but still very nice. 2005 bottle. Hazy yellow color.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of boboski. Hazy golden with a tall and lively, off-white head leaving some lacework. Sweet, floral aroma. Medium body with a solid, pale malt base with very fruity and perfumed floral accents - lots of lavender in particular. There’s a vague, underlying tartness while the bitterness is very discreet. Interesting. 021107
