Pours deep golden transparent yellow, medium white head, high carbonation. Aroma is one of the most interesting I’ve come across. Like nothing else. Flowey, yet spicy, like Christmas gingersnap and cinammon, Belgian yeast, grassy, apple cider, and a hint of alcohol. Flavor has some sweetness to start, dry in the finish, yeast, sweet malts, the spices are there and more blended than in the aroma. Really something of an odd beer, very much worth trying if you can. whaleman (2171), North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 8, 2005 Updated: Jun 8, 20062005. Hazy, toasty golden color with mild carbonation and a collapsing soapy white head. Aroma of lavender, perfume, vanilla, apple, rich honey, and alcohol. Flavor is of flowers, apricots, and lemons with more prominent perfumy lavendar notes and some clove. Semi-dry, but comes across sweeter than many saisons. Tea-like palate. Good, but I couldn’t imagine drinking half of a 750 in one sitting (let alone a whole 750) without the flavors becoming obnoxious. I like it in small doses.

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 17, 2005 Flowery aroma, flavor and effervescent mouthfeel. I had this at Belgium Comes to Cooperstown 2005 and found it incredible. The spices are evident but its the mouthfeel and the flowery touches that does it for me. rudolf (1758), Buffalo, New York, USA

Pours hazy golden amber with a small to moderate off-white head. Very nice aroma - definitely unique: not surprisingly this is very floral, pollen, clover a little yeast funk, herbs and some orange rind and coriander. Flavor is dry, spicy, nice floral/herb bitterness, little honey, apple, peach and the aforementioned funkiness. Medium body and mild carbonation. Very different and very good! | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jun 9, 2005 Bottle, from Halftime Beverage. Great nose, Lemon, clove, honey...I don’t begin to know how to describe all the spices. What they say on the label, yeah. 1st pour was clean golden orange color with a big white fuffy head, 2cd pour was hazy with floaties. Bittersweet flavors, same as aromas with the clove/spice dominating. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel, dry sweet finish. Nice brew, starting to enjoy the saison style Brad (364), Berkley, Michigan, USA

Aromas of herb gardens, floral greenhouses, malts, tangerines and sugar. Flavor was sweet and bitter, candy hints. Very light in the mouth, with tanginess and carbonation tickling all areas of the mouth.
