Sample @ BCTC 2008. Very good saison. Aromas of floral, herbalness, i guess lavender. Taste is again herbal & floral, somewhat sweet, slightly spicy. enjoyable. Why cant they come to Buffalo??

pours medium hazy amber with a creamy, eggshell-white head. Surprisingly malty aroma of oranges, spices. I want to say there is alot of lavender in the nose but I’m not sure if I’m just inferring that from the description. Sweet, malty flavor, once again candied oranges, cinnamon, grass, and I guess flowers. Come to think of it, it really does taste like flowers, it’s no joke, it’s just sweeter than I thought it would be. Delicious and refreshing. Flavor lingers on for awhile, and really leaves me craving more of this wonderful, unique brew. I wish they would bottle and distribute more of this.

25.4 oz. bottle, consumed at the brewpub on 7-31-08, split with a friend. Pours an opaque, hazy, orange-ish dark gold with a moderate amount of cream-colored head. Aroma and flavor: Yeasty, briney, salty, spicy (cinnamon, paprika), and vegetal (pumpkin, zuchini), yet with a certain floral Belgian flare. Medium to full body. Oily in the palate. Cuvee des Fleur is a unique and awesome brew!

Bottle from Capone’s. Pours turbid dull coppery with 1-finger off-white head. Nose is florals, spicy yeast, hopcitrus, mild funk, fruit. Tastes very floral, hoppy, semi-sweet to semi-dry, with malt, spicy yeast, Bartlett pear, and a rich, complex palate. This one is a true joy to drink.

750mL bottle. Pours a hazy orange amber that clears up as it warms. The head is small but very bubbly and dissipates fairly quickly leaving no lacing. The smell is extremely unique and extremely floral with some definite spiciness thrown in there as well. The floral aroma was more than just hops - all kind of flowery smells. The taste is a sweeter version of the aroma with honey playing a major role alongside the floral tastes. Mouthfeel is creamy and smooth with decent carbonation with a lingering syrupy sweetness in the finish. This is my first Southampton brew and I’m impressed with both the uniqueness and the quality of this one.

Bottle thanks to moejuck, thanks man! Poured a clear golden-orange color with a moderate off-white head that faded to a layer. Aroma of citrus (light lemon, orange), funky flowers (mainly chamomile and lavender) and some moderate yeastiness. Soft, lightly tart entry with some moderate flowery, leafy character with hints of chamomile and a wheaty, yeasty flavor transition into a moderately dry finish with undertones of sweet berries and some light lavender. Smooth and crisp, semi-dry finish. Very nice beer, thanks a ton for hooking me up Joe.

On draft @ Capones with Mad_indian. Pours hazy orange with a good size white head. Aroma of flowers, perfume, and sweet malts. The flavor is quite floral, sweet malts, and biscuit good body and mouthfeel. Well done.

On tap at Capones sampled with Stegosaurus and JB175. Cloudy orange pour with two finger white head definite flower aroma. Sweet malt flavors with a floral finish. I wasn’t as crazy about this as the rest were. It was just ok for me.
