| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 14, 2008 Draft @ Capone’s. This one poured a nice golden color with a medium head. Aroma is spicy and sweet with some nice herbs, mild hops, and sugary goodness. Flavor is fantastic with a great sugary/herbal/hoppy/smooth thing going on that is unlike anything I’ve had before. Also getting some cinnamon and summer fruits. Nice feel - please make this one as widely available as some of the other SH greats! CharlesDarwin (1836), Point Judith, Rhode Island, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 13, 2008 750mL Bottle. Herbal, floral nose. Lavender and rosehip support Belgian esters. Pours a lightly murked golden and rising white foam. Billowy. Flavor is fresh and riveting. A great bouquet of iris blossom, rosewater, and sweet orange candy. Almond dust and refined brandy sugars show through. Savory and herbal, yet floral and sweet. Malt sugars gracefully help keep all the delicate floral notes alive. Pear skins and reduced nectarine juice. It has that nice phenolic Saison yeast balance in the back sweep. Delicious, bright and refreshing. bp (455), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 10, 2008 Draft. I was freaking furious when this ran out at BT before getting to try it so, 3 days later trip to SPH draft and bottled, NICE!
Pours a medium dark orange body with a quick diminishing light head Aroma is sweet malt quickly covered up by cinnamon and floral notes. No sourness or real etoh in the nose. Flavor is just the same. This needs some time to allow the sweetness to die off then i’ll revisit this. nimbleprop (844), SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA

Clean, spicy, yeasty finish. tytoanderso (1386), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 14, 2008 750ml bottle. Highly aromatic. Chamomile and lavender come to the fore first. Honeyed malt, wet spring time grass. Smells like a field of wildflowers after a gentile shower. Beautiful. Pours a rich copper with a decent sized and stable chalky white head. Plenty of honey malt on the tongue. There is enough herbal and floral notes to keep the sweetness at bay. Mild grassy hop notes balance out as well. Earthy, juicy, floral. Delicate and quite balanced. Medium bodied with the right amount of carbonation. Finishes with a lengthy amalgam of of spices, herbs and sweetness. Thanks a ton Eugene for this wonderful example of this style! EricE (456), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 13, 2008 Very hazy thick pour. Looks almost like pulpy grapefruit juice. Very spicy aroma with lots of flowery tones. Lots of herbs - oregano or basil or other Italian herbs. Spicy peppery taste with cardamom and clove. Lots of earthy tones with flowers and lavender. Hint of malt and bitter creamy finish. Very good, refreshing and unique beer.
