| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Apr 29, 2008 Aroma of cardamom and lemon tea. Flavors include graham cracker and also some lemon. Palate is fizzy, too much so, detracts from this eccentric herbal tea-like beer. DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 13, 2008 2005 on the cage. Slightly hazy golden body, huge carbonation and big fluffy white head. Dry pollen and corn bread aroma. The flavor has a pervasive honey-cornbread sweetness with stemmy grass and a mandarin orange rind. Bit too sweet for my taste. JCB (1747), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 1, 2008 Rating from memory. 2005 bottle, purchased at some lovely bottle shop in Philly. A really interesting saison that lingers in the memory, with a full body, pleasantly piqant aroma, and a sharp, quirky flavor. Hibiscus and rose petals come across to this relatively unsophisticated nose, giving an interesting quality to an already good saison (less buttery than their Deluxe). I do hope to try this again sometime. MIBRomeo (1965), Wisconsin, USA

Gusher blew the cork down the hallway. Off orangish pour w/ a huge frothy off white head that dissipates fairly quickly and leaves a moderate lacing behind. Floral aroma some light white peppers hints of clove and a touch of fruits. Palate is well coated a bit astringent. Very nice mellow flavor. some very earthy notes hints of flower petals a dry finish with a sweet front. Odd to taste the sugars, they must be non-fermentables. Oakes (8080), gone rambling, Vietnam
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 22, 2008 Pale and hazy with a big head. Very floral aroma but also with an assertive breadcrusty character and nice dry-hops. Herbal, floral characer with hints of both sweetness and astringency. The yeasty finish is quite dry. corby112 (706), philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
