Pours a burnt orange with no head. Aroma of lots of spices, vegetables, pumpkin pie, and lemon meringue. Flavor most strongly of pumpkin pie (canned pumpkin), some cinnamon, nutmeg, and citrus. Sweet and spicy. The flowers add interesting flavor to this beer and it was quite unlike other saisons I’ve had before (except for maybe some Fantomes). Definitely worth a try (and I’d like some more). shadey (1500), Rochester, New York, USA

The flavors was much the same with a bit of wild flower funk and some saison spice sneaking through. I would say it had a sweet finish as well. Overall very interesting stuff, but I probably wouldn’t seek it out again.
Rerate with age. Not sure how old. Plenty of carbonation, soapy white head. Strong ginger aroma. I still like this one. Very bubbly and acidic. MaiBockAddict (1499), Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA

Poured a flat golden orange with virtually no head even after some serious agitation. very very floral nose with some detectable lavender and a very light hint of malts. Medium bodied and rather dry, well it is a saison so what would you expect?? Lots of floral notes in the flavor as well and as nice as this was it just is to far past my palate for now. A good beer just not for me. Dixen (1465), Flagstaff, Arizona, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 20, 2004 I must say, saisons are not my cup of beer. I really dont get them. Spicy and sweet aroma. Yellow body, with a big fluffy white head. Spicy flavor, some sweet malts, i find the spices too sharp. TheEpeeist (1459), Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 23, 2006 25.4 oz bottle vintage 2005. Slowly rising hazy straw yellow; big white head dies with veils of lace. Each pour adds drifts of foam. Fresh melon, rose hips, banana bread and lemon zest. Exquisite. Lemon tart with a pinch of grated lime peel. Flower petal finish. Just perfect carb with a smooth, rich body. Restrained floral; bracing with subtle complexity. A treat for all the senses. An outstanding saison! Jokes (1453), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 28, 2004 Hazy golden body with a thick, fluffy white head. The sweet, floral aroma is imidiately inticing. I have a difficult time discerning the varied elements of the nose--it’s not unlike walking into a cooler at a florist, but that is too simplistic. Mock orange blossoms, white pepper, spicy coriander, anise, coconut, light candy sugar, vanilla and probably many more things. The malt is present, but I think a bit understated, as to allow the flowers more room for influence. The body is creamy and well-rounded with just a bit of a spice kick at the finish. The flavor was, initially, quite unexpected based on the nose. The soft roundness of the candy sugar, complex floral elements, mild fruit and spice led me to believe it was going to be fruitier and more floral than it is. The sweetness really takes over in the flavor, dominating the elegant flowers and spicy yeast, which would have made this more interesting. The finish is long and rather warming for approximately 8% and isn’t as dry as I would like. In fact, over time, the alcohol becomes quite dominate. I’m still not real well versed in the complex art of aging, but I hope that given more time, the sweetness would dry up some, allowing the light fruit and varied flowers more room to grow. If that were the case, this would simply mindblowing.
