Bomber from goldtwins. Pours a HUGE head with a small light orange body. Head is very bubbly and carbonated. Nose is spicy and floral with some light hopps. Taste is light and spicy, cloves are present, finishes very fizzy and a light bitterness.

Looks like apple juice. The aroma is all wild flowers and spice. The flavors was much the same with a bit of wild flower funk and some saison spice sneaking through. I would say it had a sweet finish as well. Overall very interesting stuff, but I probably wouldn’t seek it out again.

Rerate with age. Not sure how old. Plenty of carbonation, soapy white head. Strong ginger aroma. I still like this one. Very bubbly and acidic.

Bottle at Ommegang, 2005. Golden, clear, white head. Wintergreen-like aroma. Spicy malty wintergreen-like flavors. Spicy finish.

75 cl bottle at the RB Rochester Gathering, Sept. 09. Thanks, ElJefe. Medium amber color with huge carbonation and a large head. Big, fragrant, flowery aroma: lots of ginger in there, though they didn’t add it. Flowery, very sweet flavor. Again tastes a lot like a real ginger ale. Nice, pillowy palate. Interesting as hell, though maybe a bit over the top with the flowers!

Amazing floral aroma, I would give it an 11 if I could. The flavor is less impressive; floral yet fairly dry with a crisp, dry finish.

25.4 oz bottle vintage 2005. Slowly rising hazy straw yellow; big white head dies with veils of lace. Each pour adds drifts of foam. Fresh melon, rose hips, banana bread and lemon zest. Exquisite. Lemon tart with a pinch of grated lime peel. Flower petal finish. Just perfect carb with a smooth, rich body. Restrained floral; bracing with subtle complexity. A treat for all the senses. An outstanding saison!

I must say, saisons are not my cup of beer. I really dont get them. Spicy and sweet aroma. Yellow body, with a big fluffy white head. Spicy flavor, some sweet malts, i find the spices too sharp.

Sampled thanks to drewbeerme. Pours a hazy orange with a tall beige head. Spicy aroma. Hops and floral herbs with a lot of yeast. The spicy nose subsides to become more malty. Similar flavors that seem overly spicy at first taste until the citrus and malts come forth to balance it well. Pretty tasty.
