750ml, caged and corked, bottle. Poured an initially clear golden color with a smaller sized white head. The pours became cloudier and cloudier towards the bottom with some big floaters. Aromas of ’Fleurs’ (very floral), citrus, and spices. Tastes of spices, citrus, flowers, caramel, and just all around herbal.

Very cloudy golden hue. Thin white head consists of tiny well laced bubbles. Yeats particles ride the bottom of the glass. Huge clean yeast aroma smells pure fermentation accompanied by those very floral and herbal notes. There’s a slight creamy lactic component in there, but it makes for a nice marriage with thegrassy and slightly citrusy bite. Notes of rosewater, hops. Entering the mouth, I immediately take notice of the huge mouthfeel on this. This is fluffy, powdery, quaffable, and has this charming soft carbonation that is typical of great beers. Palate displays a superb spicy bitterness executed in incredible balance and harmony (this and the mouthfeel are the 2 attractions imo), gentle woodiness. It’s ultimately not very flavorful, never pungent anyway or flavors are just hard to pinpoint, but the flavor balance is part of the meeting. Let me tell you that I’m pleased to have 1 bottle left, I’d feel like drinking it now almost.

Bottle... Hazy, dark golden brew with an off-white head. The nose is floral with lesser notes of citrus fruit. The flavor is a whisper on the sweet and herbal side with notes of peach, bread, caramel, lemon and black pepper. Medium to full-bodied with a fizzy mouthfeel. Lengthy, herbal, semi-dry finish.

Bottle, with ClarkVV and Sully. Golden colour. Aroma is flowery/spicy. palate is sweet and quite folowery and spicy, as it was in the aroma. I’m not sure what flower is responsible for the ginger, but i get definite ginger characters. I’m not a fan of ginger , so it inevitably affected my score, to much flowery spicyness for me.

Pours a cloudy copper golden with a thick, frothy, well-lacing, white head. Aroma is full of rich bready Belgian malt, yeasty barnyard and a touch of citrus and pepper spice. Starts with a mild caramel sweetness, showing some tartness and yeasty flavor toward a semi-dry finish. A nicely balanced, and authenic-tasting, interesting brew. Thanks goldtwins!
