Had this at the DC/MD/VA/WV/PA gathering. Bottled courtesy of eyedrinkale. Golden body with a small white head. Millions of minute particles suspended in this. Nose is flowery, perfumy, and mildly barnyardy. Some light fruit, perhaps, creeps in. Taste is flowery and perfumy with light fruit notes, mild tartness and some straw/hay notes. Body is strongly carbonated and a bit tart. Finishes with more flowers and perfume notes, mild tartness and fruit. Damn nice saison!

750ml bottle shared by badbeer. Poured a slightly hazy medium orange color with a bubbly white head. Fruity, spicy aroma including the likes of apple, pear, light cinnamon, and clove. Medium bodied and semi-sweet with mild hop bitterness. Lots of spices in the flavor giving the beer an almost mulled-wine like note. Spiced pear and toffee also came out in the flavor along with a dash of salt in the middle. Interesting beer.

Publick House Bottling. 750ml bought at Shorline Liquors in Long Island Shared with my girlfriend Cyn, paired with Tofu Kabobs and Rice with Oyster Mushrooms and Leeks. Pours orangey yellow with lots of carbonation and a thin tan head. Nose is really quite intriguing with lots of floral charater. Taste is nice and dry and sweet and floral with a bit of a citrus herbal quality, I like this beer, its pretty damn tasty.

Thin offwhite head. Golden body. Sharp floral herbal aroma with malty sweetness. Cinnamon and Christmas spice notes. Light acidic balanced barnyard taste with cinnamon, floral, and herbal notes. Some cardamom as well. Wonderful! (0.75l bottle at RBNAG’07.)

Orange blonde color with a thin white head and yeast in suspension. Heavenly aroma and flavor of yeast, flowers and citrus. Sweet finish. Very smooth texture, medium body. A complex and well balanced beer, again Southampton amazes me !

Very cloudy dirty banana color. Very small white head. Ok, from the nose I get where the name comes from. Very floral, not in a floral hops kind-of-way. Very floral in a cute flowers kind-of-way. Roses, orchids and all kind of garden flowers. Leave a bottle opened at home and your girlfriend will walk in with a “Darling, you shouldn’t have!”. Well malted pillowy body. Honey, rosewater, grapefruit, a twist of lemon, grass. Taste is fortunately less perfumy than what the aroma hinted on. The flavours feel soft and light but the beer feels full. Very interesting.

Golden, smacks of alcohol. Thinnish like a typical Saison. Herbal/grassy flavors with lots of fizz.

What a unique brew, it really took me quite a while to try to pick out all the flavors in this brew, even with the help of a fellow ratebeerian. Pours a cloudy light orange with a tall big bubbles white head. Tons of floral scent in the aroma, hops, flowers, tea spice, slight lambic sourness, perfumy and sweet. Taste starts just like the smell, very aromatic, hints of honey, chamomile, fruit, dry spice, and lightly citrus. Very herbal tasting. Very smooth and a unique enjoyable brew, what an experience.
