(Rating #1239)

750, corked and baled. Thanks, BVC! Deeply hazy medium gold. Thick, sudsy, platinum blonde head. Moderate stringy lace. Big flowery, lilacy, orange-blossom-y nose. Coriander shows up in a huge way, but only as it warms. Spearmint in there as well. Medium body with softly fizzy carb. Nuts, grass, flowers, and menthol on the mid-palate. Long, dry finish. Awesome, awesome beer.

Courtesy of tpd975. Pours deep deep mildly hazy gold with very thin white head. The aroma is pretty bold with candi sugar, dark fruity esters of hard candy cherries and prunes to go along with lots and lots of spices, some sweet honey and a hint of herbs. The taste has a solid bolt of sweetness going along with fresh picked rose pedals and honey. I also get tasty notes of spices and additional dark fruity esters. Lip smakin’ goodness.

Bottle shared by BVC. Thanks Brandonn! Compled aromas of flowers, perfume, wheat, pepper, spice, mint. Golden orange with a nice foamy head. Just spicy, floral, and perfumey. Really nice. The flavor is nice and fruity up front. Notes of oranges, flowers, spice, pepper, mint, some lavender too. I really enjoyed the complex spices and sprite carbonation.

2005 on cap, plain label as in picture so Southampton; 750ml bottle; nose of honey and spices; hazy light copper with a huge yellowish head; flavor is lightly tart with a minty and peppery note; finish is peppery then lightly tart. Very good saison; maybe Odeed would like this one!

Aroma of cardamom and lemon tea. Flavors include graham cracker and also some lemon. Palate is fizzy, too much so, detracts from this eccentric herbal tea-like beer.

750ml Bottle: Aroma is sweet and floral. Smells of lavender, caramel, spices, flowers, soap, and fruit. Poured amber/orange in color with a tiny white head that disappeared immediately. Hazy. Very sparkling. Flavor is medium sweet. Tastes of malts, brown sugar, spices, flowers, ginger, allspice, and cardamom. Medium body. Slightly thin texture. Soft to average carbonation. Sweet, spiced, medium-dry finish.

Blind tasting at Papsoe. Hazy golden colour with a huge fizzy white head. A lot of spices in the aroma, such as coriander, flower, citrus, raisins, yeast and some diacetyl. Very tasty flavour with notes of alcohol, grape fruit and ends with a high carbonation.
