Sampled at the Pre-GABF Babblefest. Gold. Quite fragrant in its bouquet, sweet with hints of spice, various flowers, grass and orange. Dry, zesty, odd and very hard to describe. Grassy, somewhat herbal but not really with a divine light fruitiness of orange and apples. Dry, buttery malt flavor. A wierd one but I liked it.

Sample courtesy of TAR. Huge flowery nose almost smells like perfume-like. Some spice and pepper detectable. Flavor is all sweetness up front, hard to define though. Mostly residuel candy sugar/tripel like, with some faint malt and a big flower character again. Very well done IMO.

2004 bottle that was at the 2006 Dark Lord release party. The beer pours to a nice golden body with a milken white head. The aroma is nice. Floral hops that really smell nice. The hop flavor is also really good. Nicely floral, smooth taste, nice palate. Sweet taste as well. VERY GOOD!

Thanks to David for bringing the 750! Poured slightly hazy medium golden with a short cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up slightly sour pale malts with much more character from the green floral and yeasty accents.. delicate and delightful! The flavor found fruity and pale malts on the core with chamomile and other floral notes around.. touch of sourness on the edges.. great balance the whole way through. Medium-bodied on the palate.. slightly spicy, slightly sour, and entirely wonderful!

Bottle, 75cl corked. (RBNAG 07) Sure a quite special beer, but a real beauty. Pours a mostly clear, golden body with a white head. The flavor is flowery, slightly sweetish and with a pleasant spicyness from cinnamon and some ginger. The flavors has the same flowery and spicy approach, and there’s a malty, sugary background. Medium to full body. Long, sweetish finish with some ginger. Just lovely, pour me another one. (071103)

from mesa gathering. pours on the orange side of gold with a fluffy white head. aroma is apple cider, sweet white flowers and alcohol. flavor borders sweet...honey, lavender/floral/honeysuckle, lemon, peppery yeast and an earthy funk. medium bodied with acidic-like carbonation. dry finish leaves some funkiness lingering in the aftertaste. very reminiscent of good champagne.

lots of lavender in both the aroma and flavor... still a touch on the sweet side but it is very well layered. rating stands.

Very hazy thick pour. Looks almost like pulpy grapefruit juice. Very spicy aroma with lots of flowery tones. Lots of herbs - oregano or basil or other Italian herbs. Spicy peppery taste with cardamom and clove. Lots of earthy tones with flowers and lavender. Hint of malt and bitter creamy finish. Very good, refreshing and unique beer.

Bottle cork and caged from BFC, thanks Jake! Cork explosion! Monster head on this bad boy... Nice light orange color. Light grassy, flower and yeasty nose. Taste is sweet flower with a touch of lavender...Lovely. But it still carries the good saison characteristics....dry, yeasty, light bitterness, and some spices. Texture is light, fluffy with a good carbonation level. Overalll a very unique and enjoyable beer. Thanks jake for the brew!
