A bit spicy with a seeming meld of noble-ish hops and marigold (c,mon, I know you ate some as a kid...). Bready and flowery aroma. Nice, but slightly thin, body. Fascinating beer, but the lavender is a bit too thick for my tastes. Gorgeous color, beautiful bronze. Bottle from beastiefan2k - thanks! Chapel (330), Levittown, New York, USA

Pretty much everything about this reminded me of champaign. The pour was a light golden/amber with lots of white thin head. Aroma and flavor were full of citrus and raisins. If I was more of a champaign/wine person I would probably like this more. badbrains (6), New York, New York, USA does not count | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 3, 2007 Bottle.
