Smells of lots of fruit (apples, peaches, pears, oranges), caramel, sugar and wheat. Tastes of hay, grass, fresh fruit, pepper, nice perfumy hints throughout. Mouthfeel is moderately bitter and full. Finish is of hay, light pepper and has many farmhouse qualities. Well done! SSSteve (2104), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

Aroma is like a spring day and delightfully aromatic. Notes of yeast, but also some lavender and freshly mown grass, clover, and honey. Flavor is much more malty though. Definite sweet malts, a touch of honey and all of those floral notes blend with the grassy hops. Lots of fresh baked bread flavor there too and just a touch of spice on the tip of the tongue. Amazingly carbonated with bubbles rising to the top and creating that huge head but it almost seems to disappear by the end of the bottle. This is incredibly intriguing and extremely tasty brew. Perfect for a beautiful spring day! ogglethorp (890), Ohio, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 14, 2007 Updated: May 13, 2008Tap, DBA. They had just tapped this earlier in the day (assumedly to coincide with the Daze of the Devil Festival at Hop Devil). Cloudy honey-yellow appearance; white head with great retention. Awesome floral aroma, with ginger and spice and yeast. Full, chewy mouthfeel: plenty of yeast, vibrant carbonation; floral dominated, with citrus hops and spice. Long, yeasty and citrus finish. The best saison I’ve had, and my favorite beer of the weekend. bonbright7 (174), Bellport, New York, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Sep 26, 2007 The cloudy orange serving I got looked mysterious as it came my way, but I didn’t have time to really examine it in an artistic sense, as there were so many people trying to get in line for beer. The smell lingered long after my first sip, which just exploded with floral tastes. I couldn’t remember anything like it terms of its smooth character with flowers and mild maltiness. It was part Saison and part Tripel to me.
I thought this would make a great beer to serve in real beer loving company rather than the masses who might not understand it.

Pours an opaque, hazy, orange-ish dark gold with a moderate amount of cream-colored head. Aroma and flavor: Yeasty, briney, salty, spicy (cinnamon, paprika), and vegetal (pumpkin, zuchini), yet with a certain floral Belgian flare. Medium to full body. Oily in the palate. Cuvee des Fleur is a unique and awesome brew! Beerlando (2353), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 19, 2007 Hazy, orange-yellow amber body reminiscent of a coastal sunrise. There’s a small, dense, foamy white head that settles to a 1mm blanket that lasts. Random snakes of microfilm lace are scattered about the glass. The aroma is incredibly fresh and complex. Wave after wave of floral and spicy scents hit the nose. Soft, aromatic flowers meet cinnamon stick, coriander, nutmeg, lemon, and mild cereal grains. Its like an intoxicating perfume. The flavor is equally impressive. I cannot emphasize enough the freshness of the floral tastes, and the perfect balance that the mild spices and soft citrus add. The palate is near perfect, both substantial and soft, with a silky smooth, creamy finish. Just a masterfully crafted brew. Best Saison I’ve had to date, hands down.
