The smell lingered long after my first sip, which just exploded with floral tastes. I couldn’t remember anything like it terms of its smooth character with flowers and mild maltiness. It was part Saison and part Tripel to me.
I thought this would make a great beer to serve in real beer loving company rather than the masses who might not understand it.

Pours an opaque, hazy, orange-ish dark gold with a moderate amount of cream-colored head. Aroma and flavor: Yeasty, briney, salty, spicy (cinnamon, paprika), and vegetal (pumpkin, zuchini), yet with a certain floral Belgian flare. Medium to full body. Oily in the palate. Cuvee des Fleur is a unique and awesome brew! Beerlando (2353), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 19, 2007 Hazy, orange-yellow amber body reminiscent of a coastal sunrise. There’s a small, dense, foamy white head that settles to a 1mm blanket that lasts. Random snakes of microfilm lace are scattered about the glass. The aroma is incredibly fresh and complex. Wave after wave of floral and spicy scents hit the nose. Soft, aromatic flowers meet cinnamon stick, coriander, nutmeg, lemon, and mild cereal grains. Its like an intoxicating perfume. The flavor is equally impressive. I cannot emphasize enough the freshness of the floral tastes, and the perfect balance that the mild spices and soft citrus add. The palate is near perfect, both substantial and soft, with a silky smooth, creamy finish. Just a masterfully crafted brew. Best Saison I’ve had to date, hands down. | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 17, 2005 Flowery aroma, flavor and effervescent mouthfeel. I had this at Belgium Comes to Cooperstown 2005 and found it incredible. The spices are evident but its the mouthfeel and the flowery touches that does it for me. JMFG (1514), Florida, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 3, 2007 Bottle from trade with MaxxDaddy. Slightly cloudy dark straw color with a thin white head. Great aroma - a mix of white pepper and fresh floral/herbal earthiness. The lavender stood out of bit. Taste has a slight sour start with a great floral middle, light spice on the back end. Complex but refreshing. RCL (1496), Waltham, Massachusetts, USA

Surprisingly malty aroma of oranges, spices. I want to say there is alot of lavender in the nose but I’m not sure if I’m just inferring that from the description. Sweet, malty flavor, once again candied oranges, cinnamon, grass, and I guess flowers. Come to think of it, it really does taste like flowers, it’s no joke, it’s just sweeter than I thought it would be. Delicious and refreshing. Flavor lingers on for awhile, and really leaves me craving more of this wonderful, unique brew. I wish they would bottle and distribute more of this. nhorween (641), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Pours a golden honey color, very clear (at least the top is) with a sudsy white head. Nose is yeast, cheese, apples, candy sugar, floral - I assume that’s the flowers brewed in - bread, hay... a great saison aroma. Flavor is very fresh - lemony, pear, only slightly bitter, but almost tart. Dry finish, very carbonated, but a nice dry finish. A great take on a saison, not outrageous, but different enough to please. rerate - mega spicy, no rating change, i still love it.
