Bottle at Hop Devil on New Years Eave. A pleasant, floral, herbal tea flavor makes this a uniquely enjoyable beer.

Bottle. Pours clear gold with a moderate, white fizzy head, good retention with fair lacing. Aroma is medium malt (grain, cookie) with heavy floral and hop notes. Damn near smells like a bouquet of flowers with hop cones thrown in the mix. A little to floral for my liking though. Light notes of earthy yeast is present. Flavor is bitter hops and perfume flowers with a light malt backbone. Carbonation is medium, finish is dry. Overall, a well-made beer but a little too much floral character for my liking.

750ml bottle. any effervescent appearance with a hazy gold color under a large, loud, fizzy white head. big soapy, herbal lavender aroma and minty. flavor is sweet and floral with lavender, honey, tea, herbs mentioned in description, spices. gruit like. everything (balance of each herb and flower) just comes together so well. a bit of sweetness to balance all the herbal coolness. medium bodied. a unique and special brew.

Edible flowers means it won’t kill you to eat them...doesn’t mean that they taste good!!! Honey pour with a 1/4 inch eggshell head. Nose shows cinnamon, exotic spice, pepper, rose petals, nutmeg, lavender, and citrus. This one is nearly undrinkable. Small samples required...anything more would be uncivilized. Medium mouthfeel with ample carbonation. Just not a fan.

750 ml. from Greens on Ponce. I can’t believe we (Georgia) are starting to get the really good Southampton stuff. Anyways, very flowery aromatic beer. Not even close to a regular Saison that I have ever had. Honey, rose, and a slight spice all come through very well with this beer. Wow, this fucker is aromatic. Beer has a nice fluffy head sitting on top of a nice haze orange body. This beer is very impressive. Wow, very nice spice and honey flavor. This is an amazing beer. For a Saison it is a bit different. Very nice sweet honey flavor. I get the feeling, at certain moments, that I am drinking a Spice/Herb/Vegetable pumpkin beer. Too much of a carbonation bite that simply robs that flavor(s). If the carbonation were toned down a bit then this beer would easily be a top 10. Spices and flower aroma/flavors are simply amazing.

Pours pale orange with a thick white head. Aroma is surprisingly floral. Flavor is interesting...the floral components come on a little too strong. Taste is somewhat medicinal. Finishes clean. Good for the occasional change of pace, but not one of my favorites.

Another 750ml shared by BOLTZ7555 – thanks Jason! Pours a hazy medium yellow with a one finger snow white head. The nose is flowers, spicy yeast and herbs – like a glade air freshener. You can really taste the flowers and herbs as well. Medium prickly mouthfeel. Interesting beer. It tastes exactly what the brewers were going for, but it’s just not for me.

Smells peppery with some heavy floral. A little funky with blue cheese and what tastes like chemical. The flavor is hugely lavender and soap. A little to floral for my liking.

Poured hazy golden yellow, soft, floral, citrus, bannana, little spice, little caramel.
