LawBadger (24), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Mar 12, 2009 12 oz bottle: Pours a golden yellow with a thin head and a surprising amount of carbonation. Sweet yeast, orange, lemon, and spice aroma. A very nice taste comprised of yeast, citrus, and mild spices. Surprised by how much I liked this one. Dogbrick (2816), Columbus, Ohio, USA Mar 10, 2009 This brew is a hazy golden-orange color with a thin and fizzy white head that recedes steadily, and some chunks on the bottom of the glass. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Citrus and spices in the nose. Light-bodied with orange peel, spice and yeast flavors. The finish is zesty fruit with a vanilla and yeast aftertaste. Not sure what makes this a "Double" as it seemed within the bounds of many Wits I have tried. Decent either way. JaBier (1130), Capital City, Ohio, USA Mar 8, 2009 Bottle shared by Dogbrick. Pours a chunky gold with a big white head. Yeasty aroma with a sweet malt influence. Yeast flavor with some citrus and a peppery finish. ljstephenson (111), Lawton, Oklahoma, USA Mar 6, 2009 Yellowish orange pour with a thin white head, very strong lemon and corriander, refreshing lemon and orange taste, well-hidden alcohol leaves a perfectly dry aftertaste. DeputyAndy (60), New Jersey, USA Mar 4, 2009 Pours an orange, clear body with little to no head. Sweet, semi-fruity nose with a hint of coriander. aplusbreaks (330), , Colorado, USA Mar 4, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours semi cloudy golden straw color. Aromas of citrus, orange and lemon peel, yeast, and some spice (coriander). Flavors are sweet citrus up front, and some nice spicy yeast, and malt in the finish. Decent stuff here, I was surprised to see it was almost 7%. RollinHard (750), Fort Worth, Texas, USA Mar 3, 2009 Pours a cloudy dirty straw color, dark gold, with a moderate white head. Nice aroma of wheat, spice (coriander and orange of course), but a bit more of everything than usual. Tangy taste of bitter spice, strong bread, sourdough, orange peel, and a bit of caramel even. Balanced between the spice and malt, but not that sweet. Finishes pretty clean with a buttered bread flavor. Creamy and full for the style, easy enough to drink. Nice! unclemike (834), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA Mar 1, 2009 12 oz. Bottle: Pours cloudy white yellow, a head of fine bubbles, aromas of wheat, malt sweetness and light pear fruit, faint citrus and coriander spice, some faint pepper in the nose, taste of malt-wheat, pilsner, citrus peach-pear, and pepper, small hops on the palate, and the pepper hangs around in the finish, the beer leaves a good lacing on the glass, medium dry on the palate, a tasty white beer
