Hazy unfiltered amber pour. Smells of vanilla with hints of orange. Almost sour at times. The flavor is spicy and has the general wheat characteristics. Smooth finish with a small bite.

I think i might have gotten an infected bottle, but here goes. Poured a cloudy golden yellow with a white head. Aroma was very sour smelling with some spice notes. Flavor was also very sour but not a citrus kind, a weird funky sour ale kind that shouldn’t be involved in this type of beer.

From a bottle, pours a murky yellow color. Aroma of citrusy lemon, and spicey notes. Similiar notes in the taste with hints of lemon and wheat.

4 oz. pour, on tap at the brewpub. Consumed on 7-31-08. Pleasant appearance: Effervescent pale yellow with white head. Very good lacing. Sweet aroma features bubblegum, whipped cream, and candy sugar scents. Tastes just as it smells, plus a lemon flavor. Delicious! A touch of dryness in the finish. Smooth and frothy in the palate. Medium body, but lighter than I expected. Southampton Double White Ale is a superb beer overall.

bottle. nice spicy wit yeast aroma. palate is light and somewhat fizzy. coriander is apparent in flavor. also has a light tart edge. little funky mustiness too. quite good. if the carbonation was a little more refined it would be excellent.

Very tasty inclusion from my secret santa this summer. Spicy aroma with some clove, coriander and yeast. Flavor is full bodied and full of orange citrus. A bit of spice in the flavor as well. The finish is sticky sweet and a slight tinge of alcohol to finish it all off.

Cloudy yellow with a moderate white head. Lot’s of spice and citrus aroma’s. A dry crisp taste with the spice and citrus in the front. Another great beer for summer.
