Golden with white head. Aroma of citrus and wheat. Flavor dominated of coriander with malty, wheat and orange notes. Neither a heavy nor a refresher. tgncc (796), Bellmore, New York, USA Jul 1, 2008 Aroma was very strong wheat/grains, some citrus, grass. Appearance is attractive, a straw colored, hazy beverage, with a tinge of orange. Persistent off white head, a lot of carbonation. Flavor was wheat, citrus hops, a little bit of spice. The palate was a little sour, with a hop crispness. Nice beer overall. blipp (1631), Newark, New Jersey, USA Jul 1, 2008 Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Madsnp (610), Odense C, Denmark Jun 30, 2008 Bottle. Hazy yellow with foamy egg white head. Aromas of lemon, coriander and yeast. Flavour of citrus, spice and some honey. Lovely refreshing on a hot summer day i Odense. ChainGangGuy (2523), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Jun 29, 2008 Appearance: Pours a lightly hazy, straw-colored body with a full, foamy, white head.
Smell: Aroma of coriander and dried orange peel with a vague underlying maltiness.
Taste: Delicate pale maltiness with a restrained honey-like sweetness. Strong spice component tasting of coriander, citrus peel, and white pepper. Low hop bitterness. Blip of acidity. Slightly sweet, slighty sour on the relatively crisp finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: I still feel the whole trend of doubling or imperializing witbiers is entirely lost on me, they don’t get twice as refreshing, quite the opposite, in fact. joekinty (263), rockledge, Florida, USA Jun 29, 2008 cloudy pale pour lots of spiceyness with a nice yeast aroma malty and coriander orange yummy
