Commercial Description:
A "double strength" version of classic Belgian-style "white" ale. A deceptively light ale spiced with Curacao Orange Peel and coriander seed.

12 fl. oz. bottle, shared with neighbour Kjetil. Hazy yellow color, nice white head. Aroma is orange, yeast and wheat. Flavor is the same, with sourness and fruit. Complex and splendid wit-beer.

Draft. Before me sat a a perfectly poured pint of witbier, orangish in color with a perfectly white head to cap it off. The aroma is so pungent of orange and spice that it wafted up for me to smell with out picking the glass up. The body on this beer is decieving. It is very light, yet delivers a hefty punch. There is a strong hit of orange and spice to the flavor, yet balanced nicely with a malty sweetness to cover the higher ABV. Quite good.

Bottle@Home. Sweet wheat aroma with some citrus and lots of spices but mainly coriander. Cloudy, yellow color, small white head, good lace. Sweet, citric, very bitter, citrus, wheat and of course spiced well. Full and milky mouthfeel but dry in the finish. Flavorful but too much bitterness IMO. So technically ok but not my kind of white. Thanks Yngwie!

Pours a clear yellow color with a brief white head. Aroma of yeast and citrus. Smooth. Light body. Taste of orange, coriander and yeast. Very fresh. An enjoyable offering for a style that is not my favorite.

Pours a clear (filtered wit? what gives?) gold with a thin white head. Smells very spicy and bready, with strange, semi-sulfuric background. Tastes smooth and creamy, with strong wheat, spicy, banana, and sweet flavors. Long, dry, wonderful finish.

Bottle. hazy straw color with small loose white head. Yeasty lemony aroma. The flkavor was yeast, corriander, and lemon. Fizzy on the palate with acidic finish. No thanks...belch.

on tap, Capone’s

Pours a hazy straw color with a thick white head that lasts. Aroma has some spicyness and orange scents. Flavor is crisp, slightly sweet, and pleasantly only mildly spiced and fruity. Very quaffable. Would be a great BBQ beer on a hot day.
