Yeast and citrus nose and... hamburgers? Taste was primarily lemon. Lemon juice dominated.

Bottle. Very yeasty citrus nose. Cloudy yellow with thin patchy head. Nice flavor, citrus sour. Not anything amazing. Palate is refreshing with a dry finish.

Very hazy golden coloured body with a small white head. Aroma of coriander seed, grass, hops, yeast and very potent cloves and bananas - a definite white! Medium-bodied; Strong spicey flavour with coriander seed and wheat most noticeable. Very nice and long-lasting makes this one good. Aftertaste shows more spice and nothing harsh - a great beer overall! This beer turned out great and I was very impressed by this throughout. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from K&E Discount Beverage in New Paltz, New York on 22-June-2007 on the Eastern Shore of Virginia.

12 oz. Bottle: Pours cloudy white yellow, a head of fine bubbles, aromas of wheat, malt sweetness and light pear fruit, faint citrus and coriander spice, some faint pepper in the nose, taste of malt-wheat, pilsner, citrus peach-pear, and pepper, small hops on the palate, and the pepper hangs around in the finish, the beer leaves a good lacing on the glass, medium dry on the palate, a tasty white beer.

From a 22oz Bottle. Obtained in a trade with beerbill 2/2007. Pours a slightly hazy, but even straw gold color with a healthy layer of fine bubbled brilliant white head. Lots of sweet and zesty orange peel in the nose, along with some creamy banana and pineapple yeast aromatics. Floral rose gardens. Mild wheat plays in the background, but the fruitiness is what dominates. Medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel with a soft carbonation. A bit more yeasty spice comes out on the palate, as does the coriander herbalness that was well hidden in the nose. Sweet banana and honeysuckle wheat greet the palate with an herbal kick and a bit of peppery yeast. This fades to some chewy bread dough that’s well dusted with french herbs. Finishes with an herbal dryness that brings forth loads of coriander spice. Great brew; thanks, Bill!

12oz bottle form A-1 To-Go in Gardiner. Murky light yellow body with over a half inch of off-white head that leaves much lacing as the beer is drunk. Smells citrusy and pithy, with some spice in the background. Citrus and pith dominate the flavor as well, with coriander playing a supporting role and just the slightest hint of alcohol present in the aftertaste. On the lighter side of medium-bodied. Extremely drinkable for the flavorfulness and abv. I really like this one. Glad some Southampton brews are making their way to central Maine.
