May 5, 2007 Cloudy very pale body with white cover. The aroma is heavily spiced with corriander and orange, some bread dough in there as well. Flavor is spicey, lightly tart and moderately sweet, lots of corriander and citrus. Medium body with high carbonation.

May 4, 2007 Just coerced a sample of this today. Hella pale, not really cloudy like some other witbiers. Hell of spicy witbier smell like the standard essentially. Has a big head that leaves quickly. Spicy and citrusy just like other witbiers. Covers the high alcohol with a sweetish taste. Nothing really special except for the high alcohol.

May 4, 2007 ACBeerfest-on tap-pours a white head and cloudy straw color. Aroma is clove. Taste is clove, wheat, lemon. OK effervescence.

Apr 28, 2007 bottle, poured a hazy golden color with a medium head, coriander and orange are present, lots of sediment, great finish, great brew, i’d buy this again.

Apr 27, 2007 Bottle from Ross (or his dad). Brewed and bottle in Saratoga Springs. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of white pepper, coriander, and belgian yeast. Medium bodied, but with a watery texture. Flavor starts off citrusy, and then transitions to a middle dominated by spices. However there is nothing but a weak malt backbone and little residual sweetness to counter the spices. Finish has a yogurt like sourness and lingering peppercorn flavor that are not harmonious. This is a DOUBLE white, where is the "double"? Even for a regular white, this is rather weak. This was so disappointing, that I would drink Blue Moon or Sam Adams over this any day.

Apr 27, 2007 A decent interpretation of a well loved style. I was just not feeling this as much as the ones I have recently sampled. Strong aroma of yeast with some citrus. Pour was a light gold and not the cloudy white I am used to in this style. Taste was more yeast and spice than anything else (and not much spice).A little lemon and corriander in the aftertaste. Making a "double strength" version of a beer that is supposed to be subtle seems to defeat the purpose to me.

Apr 25, 2007 Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma is of spices, lemon, citrus, floral hops, and some corriander. Flavor starts off with the lemon, citrus, and corriander that give way to the yeast and floral hops. A pretty decent belgian style brew.

Apr 24, 2007 Pours a very hazy golden yellow color with a small white head. I smelled lemons, orange, citrus, coriander and hops. Nice Witbier....mellow, yet with a biting aftertaste.
