Aroams were marginal, but the flavor was great. Lots of citrus with corriander notes. Pretty good. padrefan98 (788), (San Diego) Santee, California, USA

Pours a hazy yellow, and taste of some orange, and sour flavors. I wasnt impressed at first, but towards the end I began to enjoy this beer. bigleftie (4), Bayville, New Jersey, USA does not count | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 31, 2007 An average Belgian style ale with a cloudy appearance. Adding a slice of orange helps bring out the taste I look for in a Belgian white beer. I felt a slightly bitter finish on the sides of the tongue which made my mouth experience a slightly salty finish. Overall, it’s a good beer that I’d drink again, but I’d opt for the Hoogarden if I had to choose. MrBendo (1042), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA

Aroma of Belgian yeast, wheat, cloves, lemony pepper and coriander. Flavor was lightly sweet and medium sour and bitter. Spices very prevalent in the taste. Light to medium body. True to the classic style, if a little heavier on the spice. kramer (2448), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours a hazy, almost unnaturally yellow colored body under a one finger fizzy white head that faded quickly. Aroma is of spicy wheat with some hay and straw notes. Some yeast, coriander, and orange peel. Fairly light and delicate spicing. Flavor is quite a bit heavier on the spicing than the nose let on. Lots of citrusy orange peel and coriander from start to finish. There is lots of wheat at the base, but the flavor doesn’t really emerge much. Mouthfeel is light-medium bodied with very fizzy prickly carbonation. Finishes fairly crisp with lots of lingering slightly sticky spices. This was pretty decent. Nothing eye-opening, but certainly drinkable. beerbomb (172), New Jersey, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 20, 2007 Pours very cloudy yellow-looks quite appetizing. Aroma is musty wheat plus sweet lemon and peppery spices. Flavor is musty lemony wheat with a creamy orange sweetness and spices. Acidity is apparent. Shouldnt be in the same catagory as regular light wits, but fairs well regardless. Good stuff. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA
