Aug 28, 2005 A hazy pale yellow beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of wheat and citrus - especially lemon. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemon and wheat. This reminds me a lot of drinking lemonade - very refreshing.

Aug 25, 2005 Bottled at RBESG. Cloudy golden. Lactic acid aroma. Nicely rounded mlat character, with pleasant notes of oraneg and curacao. Citric finish. While I’ve never been a huge fan of the witbier-on-steroids category I do appreciate this one.

Feb 15, 2008 12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy yellow to orange with lacing white head. Aroma is wheaty and bubblegum. Flavour holds the classic germen hefeweizen flavours and some belgian wit notes like coriander. Yeasty, spiced and overly banana fruity, goes into a more coriander and orange peel dominated flavour as the beer heats up. Ends lingering banana fruity finish. More German than Belgian, I’ve never been impressed by US imitations of these two styles (not that I am a big fan of the German Hefeweizen style), this one doesn’t change that.

Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, citrus - orange shell, moderate yeasty, moderate to light heavy coriander. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (180408)

May 30, 2008 Bottled. Hazy yellowish colour, mediumsized white lacing head. Aroma is yeast, wheat, sourness as well as spices. Flavour is spices, wheat, yeast and flowery hops. For being US-made witbier, it’s a very good one.

Feb 25, 2008 Bottle. Spicy aroma, teaish, coriander and clove. Cloudy yellow colour, small white head. The flavour has the same spices as aroma along with a little yeast and a certain semi-pleasant bitterness. Refreshing and tasty enough, but nothing out of the ordinary.
