Commercial Description:
A "double strength" version of classic Belgian-style "white" ale. A deceptively light ale spiced with Curacao Orange Peel and coriander seed.

Bottle. Hazy, light yellow color. White head. Aroma is spicy, yeasty and full of wheat. Flavor is creamy and has some nice wheat and yeast notes. Nice beer.

Medium white head. Hazy opaque yellow body. Dense stale wheaty yeasty aroma with vague citric notes in the background. Dryish wheaty vinegary citric taste. Thin, mealy mouthfeel. Probably too old. (0.355l bottle from gr0ve.)

This is a good wit. White in color. Aroma has yeast, wheat, and coriander. Flavor has more coriander and wheat, with some sugar. A little citrus.

Bottled. Hazy pale yellow with a big white foam. Spices, banana, lemon and wheat in the aroma. Flavour of lemon, lime, coriander, wheat and salt. Medium-bodied. Dryish finish of wheat, coriander and mild lemon. Wow, now this was a fresh, quaffable and sligtly tart wit, I need more of this!

Hazy blonde color with yeast in suspension, not much of a head, just a ring of foam around the glass. Aroma of bananas and spices. Flavor of bananas, spices and alcohol with a light acidity. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. So far this one is the one I like the least from Southampton, but still it’s good and worth tasting.

This brew is a hazy golden-orange color with a thin and fizzy white head that recedes steadily, and some chunks on the bottom of the glass. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Citrus and spices in the nose. Light-bodied with orange peel, spice and yeast flavors. The finish is zesty fruit with a vanilla and yeast aftertaste. Not sure what makes this a "Double" as it seemed within the bounds of many Wits I have tried. Decent either way.

Huge yeast aroma, some citrus and plenty of corriander. Hazy yellow, fair sized white head. Flavour is malt, orange, yeast and corriander for days. Well carbonated, light bodied, very drinkable. Delicious! Thank You Shadey.

IMPORTANT NOTE: THIS RATING FOR THE kick-ass 750ml bottle. Not the shitty 12oz bottles that I beleive are contracted outside the brewpub
In short: Best Witbier ever, period.
How: Many times from bottles. This rating is for a tap at at Holy Smoke BBQ, Mahopac, NY
The look: Very cloudy yellow body with a long-lasting medium white head.
In long: I had it many times from a bottle and it was always great Ɣ.0 great). But that time I had it on tap at Holy Smoke was just unreal. You could smell it 10 feet away. Coriander, fruity yeast esters and everything. Mouthfeel was ultra-full and ultra-pillowy. Bananas, citrus and quite a bit of lemon. Spices. Vanilla. Ice-cream. Fluffy and melts in your mouth. So intense that this is almost a sipper. Probably the best Witbier I ever had. The type of White supremacy I can support.
