Pours a cloudy yellow with a fizzy white head. Another Southampton brew with a interesting sourness to it, giving a nice refreshing taste, awesome for the hot day we were drinking it. Yeast esters and orange peel show nicely in the aroma and finish, very nicely flavored wit, or double wit as is the case here.

Bomber. Thanks, Luiss! Pours a cloudy, lightly bubbly medium orange. Gorgeous. Thin white head skipping around the surface for a second. Big nose of lemon, a tiny bit of banana in there, orange pith and coriander too. Forward attack though not super aggressive; medium body, active carb, and lively, sparkling flavors. All the old favorites from the nose show up on the tongue: lemon, orange, banana, coriander. Fun stuff. Very drinkable, refreshing--and complex enough to be satisfying. This is nice work by SH.

I thought this one was a little strong. And it wasn't all that white looking, so I felt duped cuz I had anticipated a Belgian Witbier. Oh well. As a Belgian Ale, it was somewhat spicy and otherwise relatively unremarkable.

(Rating #794)

Cloudy and deep yellow-orange with a big white head. Spicy and dry nose was yeasty, clean and enticing. Lively, spritzy carbonation. Coriander and bitter orange flavors/aromas were nice, but they were somewhat subdued. Sweet malt flavors (honey-like and bready). Wholesome and earthy. A little too sweet; not spicy enough; and not bitter enough.

An excellent witbier. Pours a oily golden color with a huge egg white head. Spicy in the nose, with some very nice rentention and great lacing. Mouthfeel is slightly thin, but the flavor is wonderful. Creamy and acidic, with lots of orange, corriander, grapefruit and pineapple, and maybe a little bit of honey sweetness at times. Nice and tart. Re-rate: Banana baby food, with some zingy citrusy notes, coconut, light plastic, pineapple and some granny smith apples.

Pale, cloudy yellow, thin white head. cereal, oatmeal aroma. Very spritsy mouthfeel. Raisin, oats, and lemony finish. Note of grapes, flowers, and other citrus fruiits, as well. Very entertaining and refreshing. I liked this one a lot.

22oz. Bottle: Lightly sweet aroma. Smells of coriander, spices, wheat, and a bit of lemon. Poured yellow in color with a medium-sized white head that diminished slowly. Slow lacing. Cloudy. Lightly sparkling. Large floating particles. Medium sweet, lightly tart flavor. Tastes of sweet and tart lemon, coriander, Curacao, and wheat. Light to medium body. Sticky, tingly texture. Fizzy carbonation. Sweet coriander and lemon finish. Overall, too sweet.
