Commercial Description:
A "double strength" version of classic Belgian-style "white" ale. A deceptively light ale spiced with Curacao Orange Peel and coriander seed.

The aroma is citrusy, with wheat, coriander, and yeast. The appearance hazy gold with a nice head. The flavor is like the aroma with a green tea like finish. The palate is thin. Overall I like it.

This was a very interesting take on a belgian ale. Like a white beer on steroids. Lots of spice in the flavor. Mildly alcoholic. Lemony and zesty. Mild sweetness as well. Peppery. Nice lacing, to boot. Strange palate, though. Not a great beer, but still pretty good.

Thanks to Morten from Danish Beerhouse. Unclear golden colour with a huge white head. Aroma of wheat, and hints of sourness. Flavour of wheat, littler sourness, some orange and hints of coriander, ends up very refreshing.

Pours a cloudy yellowish golden with nice white head, which becomes lacing. Crisp aroma of wheat malt, oranges & a hint of coriander spice. Crisp wheat beer. Smooth wheat malt flavor with a light coriander touch, a bit of lemony acidity, and a subtle orange citrus aspect the whole way through. The flavor is crisp & light, yet the body and mouthfeel are pretty hearty.

Cloudy white with a frothy white head. Strong spiced aroma, with hints of orange. Sweet flavor of orange peel with a spiced background.

Esteric, yeasty aroma. Looks like grapefruit juice in a glass with a clingy head. Lightly sweet, fizzy, tart, sour fruit flavors. Medium body, alcohol-bitter finish. Perhaps too fizzy.

Pours a nice pale, though filtered, with a very nice head. Aroma is rich, fruity, lots of orange, a bit of hops, kinda champagne like. Effervescent palate leads to a super-orangey, spicy, full and sweet taste. My roomate called it over-sweet but I disagree: though it didn’t really taste too much like a wit, it was sweet and full and refreshing. A very nice beer, though a bit (read: way too) expensive.

Sampled at RBESG 2005.
Hazy golden, disappearing white head. Yeast and citrus aroma with some light spices and white pepper. Sharp citrusy and orangy flavor. Notes of yeast. Very unbalanced and not very tasty either, I can’t believe how overrated it is......
