| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 23, 2004 This is something I'd like to try my hand at. I love witbiers and my wife enjoys them as well and this is quite simply an excellent witbier made with a bit more body (although not heavy) and just a hint of alcohol presence. The body is a little darker than the average witbier and a bit heavier (although if you've had Dogwood Summer, you've got an idea about it). The coriander and orange peel aromas meld nicely with the yeasty esters and phenols and the alcohol peeps through just enough that you know it's there, but not enough to slap you in the face and say "look at me! I'm big!" Great beer. I'd love to make a trip to this brewery's brewpub. badlizard (2386), Berkeley, California, USA

Golden with white head. Aroma of citrus and wheat. Flavor dominated of coriander with malty, wheat and orange notes. Neither a heavy nor a refresher. Beerlando (2353), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 11, 2007 Pours a hazy orange-amber color with a frothy white head. Nice, intricate lacing patterns decorate the glass like spider webs. The aroma displays heavy coriander, citrus blossoms, wheat, sweet orange, and floral hops. The flavor follows suit, but the floral intensity increases significantly. Coriander also seems overly concentrated, and citric acid adds an out-of-place sour, harsh element. Imperial Wit is a fitting description for this brew. Medium bodied and slightly cloying. This is just a weird blend. Not a big fan. drewbeerme (2309), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 10, 2007 rating from memory, poured a 22oz bomber, dark orange with fluffy white head. nose is very corriander, orange, and yeasty. flavor is much of the same but it doesn’t seem balanced or enjoyable to me. a sourness makes this sorta gross. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | May 16, 2007 Pour is slightly hazed yellow with a thin bright white head...smell is strongly spiced with corriander and clove and has a nice subtle sweetness to it...taste is sharp and sweet up front, with a strongly musty spiciness coming up at the end...lots more citrus than I expected, but it goes well... | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 6, 2003 I must give a big thanks to herbjones for sharing this one with me. This pours a hazy yellow gold color with a white meringue head. There's absolutely no orange peel taste in here, but as the beer warms the spiciness comes out. It is very creamy on the palate & is a good hot weather beer.
