| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 16, 2007 12 Oz Bottle. Aroma is gentle, infused honeycomb, chamomile, ripe orange zest and sugared peaches. Gentle and faint. Pours a hay colored cloud, topped with a soft, silky foam of white. Flavor is an intricately nuanced soft fruit. There’s plum skin, puckering pear nectar, gentle orange blossom, jasmine rice and a strong whack of sour orange peel. Great character. Even the coriander plays clean. So, do the yeast. None of that coarse, rubbery phenol action. Just a gentle infusion of soft, low mineral notes. Light breadiness and rich texture. Alcohols brings a level of depth to this beer. It really came across a "single" Wit, with a bit more chewiness. It retains excellent quaffable aloofness and gentle, yet refined character. Another well brewed beer for the style. Beer2000 (1858), Kristiansand, Norway
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 16, 2009 12 oz bottle. Livly, golden body with a diminishing whitehead. Aroma is spicy and slightly acid with a hint of esters. Flavor is sweet with some fruity acid, spices and mandarin. Refreshing, some bitterness in the finish, a bit thin body and short aftertaste. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 24, 2007 Pours a unique hazy light orange yellow. Not much head to it, very light white bubbles. Very floral in the smell, get some orange blossom, and light citrus. Taste is somewhat mellow with very subtle citrus hints. Very easy drinking. Hints of orange in the finish. Nicely done. Hazy Yellow.
The aroma was incredible. Easily one of the best smelling beers I have ever come across. Notes of lemon peel, orange, butter toffee and coriander in the nose.
Flavor was more of the same. Notes of lemon, coriander, caramel, butter toffee and orange. This is by far the best wit beer I have ever had. LinusStick (1855), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 27, 2007 A decent interpretation of a well loved style. I was just not feeling this as much as the ones I have recently sampled. Strong aroma of yeast with some citrus. Pour was a light gold and not the cloudy white I am used to in this style. Taste was more yeast and spice than anything else (and not much spice).A little lemon and corriander in the aftertaste. Making a "double strength" version of a beer that is supposed to be subtle seems to defeat the purpose to me. SDbruboy (1833), San Diego, California, USA

Pours light amber with a slight haze and a moderate white head. Aroma features niice fruity malts, with lots of yeasty notes. Flavor is heavily citrus, with spicy breadiness and a good bitter finish. Light to medium body with assertive carbonation. Very nice with dinner - thanks Mike.
