I generally enjoy double whites, as they can be quite creative. This one’s a bit too dry and astringent, however, rather than simply being light. I enjoy the spice profile, but something about the brew seems insubstantial. Murphy (1759), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 13, 2005 Wheaty, grainy aroma with lemon / orange citrus flesh and equally light coriander. Syrupy-sweet pale malt. Pretty simple flavor, a sweeter bolder wit with a stronger citrus element. Good mouthfeel. Thanks to Jason for hauling this back from NY! 21iceman40 (1731), vienna, West Virginia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 13, 2003 Light and yeasty aroma with a mild dash of spice. Piss yellow color with little white head. More spice than fruit comes through in the taste along with yeast, and also has a lingering aftertaste. Enjoyit (1719), Vadum, Denmark

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 28, 2003 Hues of lemon and tangerine, it's lightly yeasty with a lot of saison, less coriander than is typical, broadened as it warmed, delicious, a bunch like an abbey. Lightly tangy throughout. The creaminess really kicks in as the cool effervescence ebbs with warming. A very tasty beer -- don't let the style on the label dissuade you! ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA

Smell is sweet, orange, corriander, and somewhat spicy. Taste is very pronounced on the orange side. Spicy and refreshing. Pretty damn good stuff actually. I love this style too, and sadly not many brewers make decent witbiers. This is an exception to that though. Thanks!
