| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 8, 2005 Poured pale yellow, cloudy, with big head, white. Yeast and some spice on the nose. Taste was lacking a bit. Doppelganger (1353), Dry County, Arkansas, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 26, 2005 Pours a pale dusky straw, with a lingering skim of light head. Aromas of clove, sour apple, wool, and lemon. Delicious burst of grape skin sourness, a little bit of wheat "sparkle" and then an abrupt finish that leaves a chewy sourdough bread taste. Very unusual and very tasty.
Tasted this with Hezron for inspiration while brewing his double-white.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 19, 2009 On tap at Bacchus. Pours a hazy opaque amber with a small white head which falls off rather quickly. Nose is bright citrus and yeast, with a bit of banana and clove. Sweet lemon on a smooth finely carbonated body. Clean light yeasty finish that zings the gums nicely. fly (1333), austin, Tejas, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 21, 2005 Bought a bottle of this a couple of years ago and gave to friend that had done so many favors for me. Finally getting to sample at the pub seems the ultimate reward. For some reason I had strange and perhaps unfavorable expectations despite my love of their beers here. Again, nice to be proven wrong. I enjoy a wit, but sometimes the balance leans to far in one direction. Here the balance leans too far in ALL directions and comes out all the better for it. Tangy and tart and more bitter than I would have thought and just perfect for the incredibly muggy weather that NY was experiencing at the time. Pure delight. scrizzz (1327), kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 18, 2009 Updated: Jun 15, 2009Dry wheat aroma, touch of lemon rind. Hazy pale yellow, suspended sediment, moderate carbonation. Dense with wheat, becomes a bit cottony on the palate. Little notes of peach and apricot highlight the dry grain. Newer bottle has more coriander and lemon in the aroma apoptosis (1316), Long Island, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 21, 2003 Very cloudy, bright yellow color. The finsih was a little too alcoholic, although it is a similar to the Belgain Trippels in flavor, if not the full-bodiedness. Good, but not great.
