12 oz bottle. Decent enough witbier, though a little more spicy than I’m used to. Aroma is that of spice, banana, and some orange. Flavor is strong spice, with hints of wheat and grains.

2005 bottle. Pours a very cloudy yellow gold, with a small white head. Aroma is lemon, spice, and some sour malt. Flavor is lemony, somewhat sour, with yeast as well. Body is a little heavier than expected, but thsat doesn’t take away from it at all. The white/wheat style is not my favorite, but this really good.

Hazy yellow body with a white head; Medium sized pleasant nose, could be a little more fresh, spicy with clear lemon behind; Balanced but a little to full and to bitter for a Wit; Long finish that has to much peel harshness. Not really god but definitely drinkable.

First pour withough massive yeast at the bottom of the bottle is cloudy golden with a dissipating egg white head. Aroma is spicy/yeasty with a touch of hops. Bit of orange peel and coriander but not as much as some wit bieres. Flavor improves upon the aroma a bit, IMO. Definite orange oil, coriander and yeast goodness. Mouthfeel is a delicate balance of high carbonation, but not too much. Well done, and probably represents a pinnacle for the style.

I think i might have gotten an infected bottle, but here goes. Poured a cloudy golden yellow with a white head. Aroma was very sour smelling with some spice notes. Flavor was also very sour but not a citrus kind, a weird funky sour ale kind that shouldn’t be involved in this type of beer.

Bottle. Aroma of some orange rind, yeast, spice, and czech-like malt. The flavor is very similar to the aroma, with a little sourness in the finish.

Cloudy, golden appearance, large white head, lots of lacing. Yeasty, spicy aroma dominated by lemon and orange. Tart, medium bodied, decently carbonated mouthfeel. Taste featured wheat, yeast, citrus, along with some lingerinig sweetness. Good depth, although not overly complex.

From a 22oz Bottle. Obtained in a trade with beerbill 2/2007. Pours a slightly hazy, but even straw gold color with a healthy layer of fine bubbled brilliant white head. Lots of sweet and zesty orange peel in the nose, along with some creamy banana and pineapple yeast aromatics. Floral rose gardens. Mild wheat plays in the background, but the fruitiness is what dominates. Medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel with a soft carbonation. A bit more yeasty spice comes out on the palate, as does the coriander herbalness that was well hidden in the nose. Sweet banana and honeysuckle wheat greet the palate with an herbal kick and a bit of peppery yeast. This fades to some chewy bread dough that’s well dusted with french herbs. Finishes with an herbal dryness that brings forth loads of coriander spice. Great brew; thanks, Bill!
