| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 4, 2007 22oz bottle: Pours a very clear yellow with big white head. Aroma is the wit yeast all the way, with the orange and coriander making it’s presence followed by some spiciness. Flavor is much the same Yeast all the way with the orange being pretty subdued and the coriander coming through more. Then it takes a turn for the worst I think the wheat takes over and kills it being sour, irony and just not tasting good, that mixed with orange and coriander just isn’t helping followed by a pepper bite in the back. This just had a sour irony nasty tasting bite to it that made this beer a drain pour. I can’t believe this is the #1 wit. alobar (1049), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 7, 2007 Updated: Aug 13, 2007A handful of these discounted bombers quickly found their way into my shopping cart. Glowing orange-yellow pour with a thick head and small spots of lacing. The 1st glass is vibrant and clean, the 2nd becomes murky with the abundant supply of yeast sediment. Captivating aroma of sour grapes and funky malt. All sorts of fruit and spices seem jumbled together, very aromatic and enticing. Full bodied, very malty. Tart and sweet to the taste buds. This one is filling and completely satisfying. I wasn’t quite sure what to make of the taste at first, but over time this develops into a fantastic Witbier. Funky sourness couple by a fresh sweetness, there’s lots of blended fruits like oranges, grapes, banana, and even apricot. Thick malt with a heavy wheat influence creating a hyped up goodness. I dig this beer. Ron (1039), Rochester, New York, USA
