Pours perfectly clear pale yellow with fizzy white head that quickly dissapates. Aroma very sweet banana and doughy. Flavor is mostly dough and coriander... very yeasty probably to cover the alcohol which is present in the finish. Overall, ok.

Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma is of spices, lemon, citrus, floral hops, and some corriander. Flavor starts off with the lemon, citrus, and corriander that give way to the yeast and floral hops. A pretty decent belgian style brew.

I’m not sure if this is a regular for Southampton, but the bottle I shared tonight was miles better than the one I tried last April. Clear golden pour with a fluffy head. Strong aroma waif from the tulip - caramel, fresh breads, vanilla wafers and unripe bananas. The coriander and orange peel really work well with the bready malt and yeast in the body - where some lemon and citrus notes are present as well. Sufficient carbonation helps separate the complex body, and adding dimension. Easy to drink, this is really nice.

Pale golden color. Heavy corriander aroma with some sweet malts and orange coming through also. Flavor is also heavy on the corriander, light sweetness, some bready malts, and light citrus fruits in the finish. Good, but a little too focused on the corriander for my tastes.

courtesy of silphium.....hazy orangish-yellow body with minimal head....aroma typical of a belgian wheat/whit, and is of citrus notes (heavy on orange)....flavor is of orange peel and starfruit skin, and has quite a spiciness to it....nice palate

Hazy banana yellow and cloudy in the glass. Lasting white head and creamy appearance. Coriander and milky aromas. Some light banana citrus on the nose. Very creamy mounthfeel. Surprising sweetness up front. Middle of the palatefeatures bittering, sharp hops and hints of orange. Smooth finish. Very good witbier.

A thanks to Joe McPhee for this one. Noticed this brewery and have wanted to sample its beers for a while. Sweet fruity aroma with a home brew feel, tangy with a spicy scent. Cloudy musky yellow in appearance with a thin white head. Tastes much better than it looks. Smooth feel, spices, citrus, fruity seems to have everything in it. I have to say I am impressed. Similar to the Hoegaarden but better in my opinion.
