Aug 3, 2007 Draft at Hopdevil (late June ’07 from notes). Cloudy pale yellow/orange with nice head and lace. Spicy orange aroma. Orange honey spicy flavor. Clean finish. Very slight hop in finish. A very good example of the style.

Nov 20, 2008 Bottle, labeled 6.6 abv. (probably a dumb Texas rule). Golden, very cloudy, awesome, pour with a small white head lasting only a minute. medium intricate lacing. Aroma of banana, cliantro, and orange peel. Flavor is refreshing, with notes of lemon, orange, clove, and other garden spices. Texture is medium/thin and has a mildy sharp bite. Finish is tart and has the taste of banana.

Sep 14, 2007 Pours light gold with a half inch white head. Aroma is strong lemon zest, cheese, and chemical. Very light body. Flavor is tart lemon. Surprisingly sweet. Somewhat of a chardonnay taste. Lingering lemon flavor. I prefer german wheats 4x more than belgians but this is actually pretty decent. definitely refreshing and hold the power to mess you up.

Oct 4, 2007 Pours a whitish gold, with a medium to small sized cotton-white head. No lacing. Very full aroma, of lemon, fresh coriander, wheat and clove. Just a very fresh, lively aroma. Taste is well balanced, sugar, with acidic lemon, dry clove, malty wheat and strong alcohol. Taste leads into a very tart aftertaste, almost like unripened cherries. Contrasts well with the high ABV. Glad to have had this 3rd best belgian white. Picked this up at Whole Foods in Falls Church, VA.

Mar 15, 2007 Sampled with Stegosaurus. Bottled. Poured a cloudy yellow with fizzy white head. (Appearence scared me looked like a cludoy budweiser). Aroma of wheat and spice. Taste was much of the same. Very dry finish and rather good. I enjoyed this

Jan 31, 2006 Really not bad! A richly alcoholic bodied, lots of malt, wheat/hay with the perfect amount of corriander, some brown sugar, leading to a lemony dry finish. Very nice.

Aug 6, 2007 on tap mews tavern 8/4/07, pours a light golden in color with lively carbination and nice lacing. smell is citrus, yeast, and spices. taste is very good, orange peel, slightly bitter, nice yeast spices, and a dry finish with ample carbination on the tongue. a very complex layered beer that has a lot going on in subtle layers, and is quite refreshing and easy to drink.

Hazy golden colour.
Very fruity (apple and citrus) aroma. Witbier-like aroma. Flavour is not so witbier. Apple juice, cider and witbier all together. Very interesting but I like more traditional Belgian Wit.
