My 2005 bottle records a 7% ABV on the label, but I’m not going to quibble about two tenths of a percent. Comparable to the Abbaye des Rocs Blanche des Honnelles (a double wit in its own right) that I had the other day, this is only slightly lesser because the aroma is much more yeasty, almost covering the wheat scents when aided by the strong lemonade smell. It looks great - a cloudy straw color with a huge frothy, bubbly white head. The flavor is a tart caramel/toffee malt, lemony with coriander and white pepper. It finishes on a mouth watering, sour note. Wicked wit.

Looks like the 2004 version has a bit more alcohol, listed at 7%. Cloudy straw color with a voluminous white lasting head. Lots of citrus in the nose, along with some tropical fruits, light yeast (chalk) and coriander. A few islands of lace. Silky and spritzy at the same time. It does seem to stick a bit in the back of the mouth. Lots of nuances to this one. Starts quite dry with wheat and mild cider. Mid swallow has the mild dry spice. the finish has a sweet fruity malt flavor that lingers to pure peach syrup with a hint of malt. Pairing this with a fresh fruit tart or waldorf salad would be heavenly. Thanks to austinpowers I have had a few of this brewery's fares and they all seem to be well thought-out and made. I thought about setting this one for a bit, but I am glad I didn't. I think the yeast may do some funky things in this one if it sat for a long time.

Bottle@Home. Sweet wheat aroma with some citrus and lots of spices but mainly coriander. Cloudy, yellow color, small white head, good lace. Sweet, citric, very bitter, citrus, wheat and of course spiced well. Full and milky mouthfeel but dry in the finish. Flavorful but too much bitterness IMO. So technically ok but not my kind of white. Thanks Yngwie!

Bottle. Poured hazy amber with a large frothy white head that was mostly lasting with an excellent lacing. Moderate sour citrus and spice aroma. Light to medium body with soft carbonation. Medium sour flavor with a medium sour finish of moderate duration.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow color with a longlasting white head. Fruity spicy wheaty aroma with some hints of yeast and coriander. Sweetish wheaty and slightly bitter orange peel flavor with some spicy hints. Dry malty wheaty orange finish.

Classic very cloudy pale yellow with a big white head. Below the head, yeast is the first aroma impression, with clove and a hint of banana. The coriander and orange is also noticed, but in the background like I happen to prefer it. Flavour is dry with a bit of a lemon twist and some spice. Alcohol is quite prominent and gives the beer a sharp finish. Swirling up a bit of the sediment from the bottle gives it a slightly fruitier flavour.

Bottle from Beer Yard. Poured hazy gold with a sizable frothy, white head. Big aroma of multiple citrus fruits, hops, some spices. Tastes somewhat tart, with some bready malts, more hopcit and spices in the finish.
