| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 5, 2005 Looked and smelled very similar to a belgian white except the body was fuller and after a whole bottle you feel buzzed. Creamy white long lasting head on a hazy golden yellow body. Moderate to high carbonation. Aroma of spices, orange, coriander, and lots of phenolics. Hints of bubblegum as well. Aroma is slightly similar to thier saison. Full flavor of smooth wheat, and malt with only a hint of hops in the end for bittering. Very smooth aftertaste and refreshing for such a strong beer. Ghastly incipid hazy creamed corn colour, flecked with particles more than actual haze. Healthy head. Spicy coriander and wheaty aroma - quite authentic Belgian wit. Zesty lemon taste. Some floury dough, but also an interesting hoppy and alcoholic punch. A bit sour too. larsniclas (3390), Gothenburg, Sweden

Yellow. Classic Wit-profile. Also salty, egg-y feel in aroma and flavour. Very much like Pietra Colomba Blanche. Bit on the malty side. Big on Co2. Bit more sourish than the regular Wit. ratman197 (3256), Arvada, Colorado, USA

Aromas of wheat, yeast, light coriander and light citrus. Palate was medium bodfied and smooth. Flavors of wheat, yeast, coriander and light citrus with a smooth yeasty finish. Yet another disappoiuntment from Southampton. After all the talk I expected better from this brewer. blankboy (3251), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
