Thanks Jen and Joe! Excellent beer - complex, full, and interesting. Starts with a very Belgian-like nose of grains and yeast. Hazy pale orange color with some head retention at first. Snap, crackle, burp! - this stuff is so fizzy you hear it perculating in the glass. Fine blend of vanilla, muscat, pepper, orange and yeast flavors in the middle haunt the late arriving spiced aftertaste. Full, creamy body and a great balance

Honey colored with a thin clinging white head. Very slight floral nose and a medium/light body. A subtle beer that may have suffered slightly from too much restraint. Mouthfeel is excellent leaning towards a full creamy texture. At first this beer seemed lightly spiced and lacking in the tartness I like in wits but as it warmed it really started to shine.

2004. Hazy golden body with a thick, fluffy white head. Sweet, fruity aroma full of lemon grass, orange peel, bananas, coriander, clover honey and light, sweet malt. The body is elegantly light and refreshing after an 80 degree day. The sweet fruit and subtle spice become more and more prevalent in the flavor. The playfulness of the fruit and spice is well received by the tongue. The finish adds a light hoppiness to keep things from being boring. Another winner from Phil Markowski and the brewers at SPH.

Cloudy bright orange gold body with a large bright white head. The aroma has some rich oranges and light coriander spice. There is also some grassy character that is pleasing. The taste is strong with the orange peels and grass. There is a strong note of the coriander in the finish. The mouthfeel is creamy and thick. Good for the style.

22 oz. bottle. Hazy, deep dull orange-yellow body. Fresh corainder and floral aroma. Clean and pleasant. Medium tartness and sweet for a wit, but that’s appropriate with this. This is perfectly sweet. Strong honey notes, with mild lime and mild bitterness. Very nice and better than expected.

(Rating #794)

Thanks to someone at the 3F Darklord release. Pours a light cloudy yellow. Scents of spicy orange, sour grape, and yeast. Flavor is slightly sour with an vinous background. Refreshing tingle makes it easy to drink.
