Appearance is a bottle-conditioned yeast particles intense cloudy golden. Nicely laced white head never leaves although it could be larger. Aroma surprises at first with its citric and lactic side. This is as zesty as it gets, lime like, passion fruits, spicy ginger, coriander. Very subtle alcohol, cream hints. Nice smell for a wit. I’m taken aback by the first sip though. It is quite acid.. once again lactic and citric, this time a bit more in an orangey citrusy way, but it gives the impression to be a yeast affair and doesn’t appear like the logical following to the beautiful aroma. Carbonation level is very high, yet it’s rather smooth and medium bodied. Not as full as a blanche neige or as spicy/weird as a kiuchi to me among my top witbiers, but I’ll revisit soon enough to study into this sourness further.
Second sample was less tart, quite citrusy, fluffy. Sometimes reminiscent of a lemonade with big carbonation, biting. I'll leave the score where it's at..

12 oz bottle. Hazy pastel yellow with a small white head. Zesty lemon and yeast aroma, notes of orange and sweet lemon. Flavour is a bit muted, but has more of the dry yeasty lemon character, moderate sweet malt. The light hop bitterness and the dry citrus provides a refreshing finish, but the alcohol is a bit too forward in the finish as well. Interesting! 8/3/7-8/3/15-17

Interesting thick cloudy pour produces an extremely cloudy golden body topped by a dense stark white head that laces very well. The aroma is very citrusy with soem apple and light spice. The flavor is loaded with lemony citrus that makes it very refreshing on a hot summer day like today. The palate is not as thick as I was worried it was going to be based on the pour, instead it is crisp lighlt prickly with not too much heft to it. Overall a very nice beer, one that I was doubting would be any good but surprised me.

2005 bottle. yellow golden color and mostly clear. thin creamy white head that goes fairly quickly. aromas of raisins, sweet bready malt, a little spice and orange peel. yeasty aroma too. flavor is dry and spicy. kind of like a lightweight tripel. a little bit of cuacao flavor, almost lemony too. mouthfeel is creamy, carbonation is fizzy. quite refreshing on a hot summer early evening. finish is dry and tart like a white wine. nice white peninsulas of lacing on the glass.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy straw color with a large white head. The aroma was strong dry spice and lemon. The flavor was dry, tangy and a little tart with noticeable coriander element and a tart lemony undertone. The finish is long, spicy and dry.

Pours out a very nice cloudy golden straw color with good carbonation. The head is small, thin and white. Taste is very smooth with some good spice and wheat and some notes of citrus. I liked this one!

Hazy blonde color with yeast in suspension, not much of a head, just a ring of foam around the glass. Aroma of bananas and spices. Flavor of bananas, spices and alcohol with a light acidity. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. So far this one is the one I like the least from Southampton, but still it’s good and worth tasting.
