| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 10, 2008 12 oz. bottle poured into a tulip. Pours a completely opaque mustard yellow colour with a thin, fizzy white head that fizzles out immediately, leaving some lacing. The aroma is that of a typical belgian wit, though very muted, with corriander, lemon, orange peel, sour wheat and light fruits. The added alcohol is undetectable to the nose and palate. The flavour is similar to the aroma in profile, no surprises here. The palate is watery with sharp carbonation, and the finsh is short, clean, and crisp. If the purpose of a witbier is to be refreshing, then this has achieved that as well as any other wit I’ve sampled. tarjei (1753), Bryne, Norway

Hazy yellow color, nice white head. Aroma is orange, yeast and wheat. Flavor is the same, with sourness and fruit. Complex and splendid wit-beer. danielcurtis81 (906), San Diego, California, USA

12 oz bottle picked up at FUBOB’s. Appearance is sunshine gold. The nose on this one is full of Belgium yeasts with a holiday spice to it. Flavors follow with a spiced holiday cookie flavor profile.

Nice example of a Belgian White, but when I saw the word "double" I guess was was expecting something new and different. Should have checked on this more in advance. Good stuff, though... sweet, spicy, funky, orangey. What’d you expect? mikalooch (167), , New Jersey, USA

Very faint aroma, mostly wheat with a little bit of peach. Flavor is wheat with an underlying citrus orange mixed with apparent corriander and other spices, very dry, finishes bitter. Very light on the palate, easy to drink. Good, definitely worth a try.
